Surviving A Crisis of Faith

Surviving A Crisis of Faith

No matter one's religious or non-religious beliefs, some of the most difficult questions in life revolve around pain and suffering. If a kind and caring God exists, why does unjust suffering occur in the world?

But these questions are more personal for those who believe in a loving God. How can we reconcile the sickness and pain we experience with the promise that God has a wonderful plan for our life: “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” Jeremiah 29:11

Even more difficult to explain is God’s silence when we desperately need him. Where do you turn when you feel hopeless and helpless, but God meets your prayers with silence?

The series “Surviving a Crisis of Faith” is designed to explore a process that God uses to build our faith. God usually takes us through different phases to grow our faith and develop our character.

When we don't understand this growth process, we will feel hopeless and resentful. We may become fearful about the future and become depressed.

I invite you to join us for this six-session series and explore the questions of unanswered prayers and why God seems to be silent when we need Him the most. I hope that by the end of the seminar, you’ll develop the faith to weather and subdue the storms of life. Remember, Satan's storms can cause delays and distractions, but they can't keep God's purpose for your life from happening.
